Did you know?
- An active lifestyle enhances immune function and reduces inflammation
- Strengthening the immune system makes individuals less susceptible to infections and reduces the severity of infections
- Daily physical activity reduces high blood pressure, weight, and the risks of diabetes and heart disease, which are all increased risk factors of infectious diseases
During this 9-month project, this study aims to aid older adults in leading more active lifestyles by providing educational material and interactive training modules. Our goal is to create behaviors that lead to a more active lifestyle that continue after the project ends.
