Bronco Families,
We hope your first week of summer has been amazing! I want to take a moment to share a few important updates and resources to help you prepare for the summer and the upcoming school year.
Leadership Update
We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the exceptional Mrs. McMaier as she begins a new chapter. Her dedication, leadership, and care for our students and staff have made a lasting impact on our campus. She will be deeply missed, and we wish her all the best in this exciting new journey. She asked us to pass along these words:
After four wonderful years at Butler, I wanted to share that I will be stepping away from my role as assistant principal to stay home with my newborn twins. While I am excited for this new chapter, it is difficult to say goodbye to a community that has meant so much to me. It has been a privilege to support the students, families, and staff of Butler. Watching our students learn, grow and excel has been one of the most rewarding parts of my time in education! Thank you for your partnership, support, and trust over the years. Butler is a truly special place, and I will always be grateful to have been part of this community💙♥️
District Updates (AISD)
Arlington ISD is encouraging all families to register early for the 2026–2027 school year. Early registration helps us plan staffing, schedules, and resources effectively. Please be sure to check out the district’s registration video, which walks you through the process step by step. Registering early ensures a smooth start for your child!
As you get ready for the summer, please watch the message from Superintendent Dr. Matt Smith (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-uxZMqBuoO0), and then review a few last-minute important items you need to know, including:
