Sometimes, signs that a young person is struggling can be easy to miss, especially when it comes to boys and young men.
Join Cartwheel and Chris Smith, a licensed clinical social worker, psychotherapist, and Director of the Looking Ahead program, for a free virtual webinar: Supporting Boys: Mental Health Strategies for Young Men.
Families will learn practical ways to recognize when a boy is struggling beneath the surface, start conversations that actually land, and build the kind of everyday connection that supports lasting mental health.
Date: Tuesday, June 4
Time: 12–1 pm ET

Real-world experience starts here!
Through the Arlington High School Internship Program, students have had the opportunity to build professional skills, connect with mentors, and gain experience beyond the classroom. Internship placements have included the Arlington Town Manager’s Office, ACMi, Arlington Investment Advisors, and State Representative Sean Garballey.
We’re always looking to grow our network of community partners who want to support and mentor APS students. These are juniors and seniors who will work 4–5 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
If you are interested in hosting an intern please contact Nicole Eidson at [email protected].
