Have you ever noticed letters or symbols in the online gradebook and wondered what they mean?
Teachers sometimes use special gradebook codes as placeholders for assignments or to provide additional information about a student's grade.

These codes help communicate situations such as:
โœ… An assignment is missing and still needs to be completed๏ฟฝโœ… A student was absent when the assignment was given๏ฟฝโœ… Work has been exempted or is not being counted toward the grade๏ฟฝโœ… The assignment is still being graded or entered

These codes ensure the gradebook accurately reflects a student's progress while keeping families informed about the status of assignments.

Students learned about the songwriting process, from brainstorming ideas and creating lyrics to developing a catchy melody. Their creativity truly shined as they worked together to write a song all about our very own Coach Jazzy! ๐ŸŽค๐ŸŽต
