As I reflect on today's Memorial Day ceremony, I feel deeply honored to have been a part of such a profound gathering. My gratitude goes to Dignity Memorial and Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park for granting me the privilege to speak on this sacred day.
We came together, not just to mourn, but to honor the indomitable spirit of those who answered the call of duty with unshakeable resolve. These heroes—our family members, friends, and comrades—sacrificed their comfort for our freedom, embodying the true essence of courage and dedication.
To every person who stood with us today, and to every family member who lives daily with the absence of their loved ones, your strength is remarkable. Your sacrifices do not go unnoticed.
Today reaffirms our commitment to hold dear the freedoms these brave souls fought for and to live lives that honor their memory. Let's carry forward the legacy of these heroes with resilience and unwavering pride.
