Whistling about our work! 🎉 Check out all the making we did in our Summer Cook Book camp! Each child brought home a personal handmade cook book inspired by the recipes and art we did. All were different! None were the same! 🫶They were gorgeous, and we had such a blast together 🫧

A magical morning of making! Today's menu: Strawberry Shortcake! With just a little guidance (and a lot of insistence on cleaning up after - hah!), the children worked together to make the shortcake, cut the strawberries, and whip the cream. It was so much fun, and a rewarding treat indeed! 😋

Here's a little hack to make your home "Montessori" aka a little easier for your children to participate in chores. "Practical Life" is a section of the Montessori classroom, and the first area that children are introduced to in order to build their independence and control of movement. And you know what I notice with children? They LOVE to sweep and mop!

Picnic Spread and Collage Piece all created by the children in a Primary Montessori Environment (3-6 year olds). Even the cream was whipped by a hand-cranked be**er! Montessori reminds us, "Help children do it themselves." And these children have shown how much they really can do on their own!
