We are thrilled to share the incredible results from the recent UIL Concert and Sightreading Evaluation! Our students delivered magnificent performances, achieving a "clean sweep" and bringing home three UIL Sweepstakes trophies!

The Sinfonia, Philharmonic, and Symphonic Orchestras all received the highest possible rating, Division 1 (Superior), from all six judges. This monumental achievement is a testament to the dedication and artistry of every student. Each group excelled not only on stage but also in Sightreading, performing with high musicality under pressure.

🎶 Gunn Choir Makes History! 🎶

For the first time in Gunn’s recorded history, all four Gunn choirs earned Sweepstakes and straight 1’s — the highest rating possible — at UIL!

This was only the second time a Sub Non-Varsity Boys choir has competed, and they rose to the occasion with straight 1’s, helping make this historic achievement possible.

We could not be more proud of these singers and their commitment to excellence. Their hard work, discipline, and dedication truly paid off!

In November, choir had the incredible honor of singing the National Anthem at the Dallas Mavericks game. We have just received the official video from the event, and we are excited to finally share it with you!

Our students represented our school rocked the performance in front of a full arena of 20,000 people. It was truly an unforgettable experience for them and a proud moment for our program!

Choir’s very first Broadway Bash was pure MAGIC! ✨
From curtain rise to final bow, these incredible students poured their hearts into every note and every dance step.

Featuring show-stopping moments from Hamilton, In the Heights, Newsies, Wicked, Hairspray, and Rent, the night was a celebration of talent, passion, and community.

By the final number, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. These choir kids are truly something special — and this is a night none of us will ever forget. 🎭❤️
