🌟 Today was the FIRST day of our GOAL Summer Program! 🌟

We are so excited to kick off an amazing summer filled with learning, friendship, teamwork, and fun! This year's theme is inspired by the World Cup, celebrating sports, cultures around the world, teamwork, and achieving goals both on and off the field.

This summer our theme is all about the World Cup, with a focus on teamwork, collaboration, and building real-world skills!

As part of our vocational program, students will be running their very own concession stand. Through this hands-on experience, they will learn valuable skills such as counting money, taking inventory, stocking products, providing customer service, and working together as a team... and we need your help!

We are currently accepting donations of:
- Individually wrapped healthy snacks
- Drink mixes and beverage items

How is your summer break going so far??

We would LOVE to see what our students are up to! Send us your pictures in the comments or through message- whether you’re traveling, swimming, relaxing, or just having fun at home! We miss all of our students and cannot wait to see everyone back for our Summer Program!

Did we ever mention that we have the best parents?? A HUGE thank you to two of our amazing moms for coming in and cooking delicious pupusas for our staff last week!

We are so grateful for our incredible families and all they do to support our school. Acts of kindness like these mean so much to our staff, and we truly feel so loved, appreciated.... and very well fed!!

Hats off to our Life Prep grads! 🎓 We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of you for this huge achievement!

Our Life Prep graduates have spent the last several years building real-world skills through:
-Culinary Arts
-Horticulture
-Completing internships within the community
-Learning independent living skills in their campus apartments

They came to us with a desire to live with purpose, and they have done exactly that. We are beyond proud of each graduate and all they have accomplished. Their journeys are a beautiful reminder of what can happen when faith, hard work, and a supportive community come together.

This year’s graduation is especially meaningful as we celebrate the final graduating class of Life Prep and look ahead to an exciting new chapter. What began in 2020 with eight students and a bold vision on the campus of Arlington Baptist University continues to grow into something even bigger through Green Oaks Vocational (GO Voc).

While the program is evolving, our mission remains the same: equipping individuals with intellectual disabilities for independent living, competitive employment, and spiritual growth. We are grateful for every student, family, staff member, and supporter who has been part of this journey. The best is still ahead.

Our students had an amazing time yesterday celebrating the end of the 2025–2026 school year with pizza, ice cream, lemonade stands, games, and yearbook signing! We are so proud of all of our students and grateful for such an incredible school year. We hope everyone has a safe, fun, and relaxing summer!

Just a reminder that our school will be closed until June 2. We can’t wait to see everyone again soon!
