Did you know we have a new vocational program?
Once a week, our Transitional Team gets to learn what it means to be a Community Helper by picking up trash and litter around our campus. This hands-on activity teaches our students the importance of taking pride in the places where we learn, work, and spend time together. We also practice staying safe while helping our community by wearing gloves and high-visibility vests. It’s a great way for our students to build responsibility, teamwork, and pride in their school!

One of the things we love about Green Oaks is that faith is not limited to one Bible lesson or one day of the week. It is woven into the way we teach, learn, work, and care for one another. Bible lessons are also part of every class’s weekly schedule, giving our students and participants regular opportunities to study God’s Word together.

We just had our first WOW of the school year right here on campus! WOW—Worship on Wednesday—is our monthly all-school gathering where the entire Green Oaks community comes together to worship, share the memory verse they have been learning in their classes, and hear a lesson centered on that month’s biblical truth.

This week, our very own Ms. Anna shared about God as our Creator, what it means to be made in His image, and how we matter to God!

Our prayer is that everyone at Green Oaks remembers this simple but important truth:
God made me. I matter to God.
