Calling all current and alumni AUCP families! You likely know that AUCP will sadly close at the end of this school year. (Our landlord’s decision to more than quadruple our rent made staying unsustainable, and our search for a suitable new space proved fruitless.)

Please join us on May 30th to say farewell to AUCP, and to honor the families, teachers, and alumni who have filled AUCP with kindness, curiosity, and connection for nearly 60 years. Spread the word far and wide – we hope to see you all there.

AUCP's outdoor classroom program is a favorite among our preschoolers! Our 3 and 4 year olds have class at a nearby nature center every other week - exploring paths, throwing rocks into streams and enjoying all the wonders of the outdoors. Learn more on our website!

We recently celebrated the start of the year with our annual Back to School Potluck Picnic!

Our families enjoyed fresh air, plenty of delicious food and a reading from our Antiracism Book Club (ABC). We really have a one of a kind community!

We are so excited to welcome back our preschoolers for another year filled with exciting new adventures!

To all our AUCP parents - don't forget to join us for welcome coffees and treats after drop off each morning this week! We'll be there to chat, socialize and of course have a few tissues in case you need one.

Our Owl class (Pre-K focus) is focused on social-emotional learning. They learn the different feeling buddies and learn to talk about their feelings.

All classes emphasize a sense of community and how to treat your varying communities (family, friends, classmates, neighbors, town). If you hear a kid talking about "having a connection" with someone, give them a high five!
