Shining Stars Daycare at Good Hope Lutheran Church is seeking a back-up/part-time employee. We are in need of someone that is available to either come in as needed when called to cover illnesses/vacations or could be worked in as part-time if needed by employee. Very Flexible scheduling. This job would be perfect for a stay at home mom (children are able to come to daycare free of charge while parent working in daycare room) or a local college student wanting after school hours. Child ages range from 3y.o. - 6th grade. Applicant MUST be energetic, patient. love interacting with kids and at least 18 years old with a high school diploma. 19 preschoolers graduated from Shining Stars Christian Preschool today. It was another great year and we are sending some smart kiddos out into the world. We had our normal send off of bounce houses, pizza and ice cream. We will miss them terribly, but we know they are ready for their next adventure 🩷🧑‍🎓💙👨‍🎓

It has been a super busy last month in the preschool and daycare. Our days have been full of big room play, building with toys, finishing up the alphabet, learning about rocks while taking a walk around the church and having our snack in the fresh air, learning how to plant and grow grass seed while making special Mother’s Day presents, our yellow class got to visit the University of Findlay horse farm and of course we cannot forget animal fun in the Daycare.
As we prepare for the last couple of preschool classes for the year, we want to say it has been another wonderful school year and we are all so grateful to each and every one of our families.
We are gearing up for summer daycare which is filled with lots of busy days. Lots of outdoor time and activities, VBS, water play, park visits and this year, a front row view of the old school building coming down.  It is certain to be a summer to remember.

Final reminder that paperwork AND registration fees are due by tomorrow to hold your child's spot in the program. We do have waiting lists that will fill unpaid spots after closing of the daycare tomorrow. Thank you
