Keep cool! It is great weather to stay indoors and play the piano 😎

With extreme heat in the forecast this week, now is the time to take extra precautions to stay safe.

Help protect yourself and others by:
• Wearing sunscreen and lightweight, light-colored clothing.
• Drinking plenty of water to stay hydrated.
• Keeping pets cool with plenty of fresh water and shade.
• Limiting strenuous outdoor activities during the hottest part of the day.
• Checking on older adults, relatives, neighbors, and others who may be more susceptible to heat-related illnesses.

If you need relief from the heat, cooling centers are available throughout Arlington Heights, including Village Hall, the Arlington Heights Police Department lobby, the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, and the Arlington Heights Senior Center.

Stay cool, stay hydrated, and continue to monitor the latest weather updates throughout the week.
