Our favorite month of the year is here, March, and mainly due to the fact that our favorite math holiday is this month , Pi Day (3.14)! So in honor of Pi Day, we are going to post “Pi” related “math facts”, every Tuesday!

To start us off, did you know that “Pi” wasn’t identified by the Greek letter until the 1700’s?!

It is common practice in grade schools to have the arrows on both directions of an axis. However, in higher math and engineering courses that use more than 2 axis, it is generally accepted to have the arrows only point in the positive direction. 🤓

🤔 "What is the first step in getting your child enrolled with Mathnasium?" We're glad you asked! The first step is an in-depth "Risk-Free Assessment", where we will give your child a skills diagnostic assessment, consisting of multiple concepts (specific to their grade level) which will uncover the concepts they are proficient in, as well as the concepts that are holding them back from succeeding in their math class!

This assessment usually takes an hour, and after we complete this, we will be able to create a personalized learning plan, tailored to their results. 🤗
