Today was about so much more than volleyball. ❤️🏐💙

Our Saint Viator Volleyball teams were proud to host Special Olympics athletes for a day filled with competition, encouragement and plenty of Lion spirit.

It was a powerful reminder of what sports can do: bring people together, build confidence and create a place where everyone belongs.

Thank you to the athletes, coaches, families, volunteers and our Lions who made today so special.

This Sunday, we’re proud to welcome Special Olympics Illinois back to Saint Viator! 🤍🦁💙

Saint Viator will host the Region B Special Olympics Illinois Volleyball Tournament from approximately 8–11:30 a.m., welcoming athletes to campus for a morning of competition and community.

Members of our girls and boys volleyball programs and boys soccer program will volunteer throughout the tournament, helping make the day a special one for everyone involved.

We’re looking forward to another great morning of competition, community, and servant leadership!

The Lions are back on the field for tonight’s home opener, and the school spirit is already going strong. Shoutout to our Grill Club and Girls Wrestling team for cheering on the Lions and keeping the tailgate going! 🤍💙

As our students begin a new school year, we are continuing to celebrate the experiences that helped them grow over the summer.

Saint Viator student Ben entered his summer internship with Great Lakes Advisors interested in finance. He returned to school with a much clearer understanding of the field and confidence that it may be the right path for him.

Under the guidance of Managing Director Laura West, Ben helped prepare for meetings, researched mutual funds and learned how financial professionals use both data and relationships to serve their clients. Conversations with executives also gave him practical advice he can carry into college and his future career.

Ben discovered that he is especially drawn to working with numbers and quantitative models, while also enjoying the relationship-building side of the business.

Thank you, Laura, for opening doors, sharing your perspective and giving Ben the opportunity to picture himself in the profession.
