Hello Neighbors!! The school year is right around the corner and we'd love to hit the ground running. We are searching for new chairs for the following committees:

Fall Fest - Plan the back to school event - URGENT NEED
Community & Family Involvement - Plan community activities or service projects
Fifth Grade Liaisons - Plan the end of the year celebrations for the fifth grade.
Juvenile Protection - Plan Red Ribbon Week activities (end of October)
Room Rep Committee -Coordinate volunteers for room parties (Halloween and Valentine's Day)
Spring Scholarship Reading - Read D214 scholarship applications for past D25 students and score them.
School Board Meeting Rep - Attend the board meetings and report back.

Many of our other committees could also use co-chairs and chairs in training. Please connect with Mia Poteracki ([email protected]), or any other PTA board member, if you are interested in leading any of these amazing committees!

Kick off Field Day morning with a coffee treat from Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck

The truck will be at Ivy Hill on Friday, May 29 from 8:00–10:00 a.m. Parents and volunteers are encouraged to stop by early and purchase a drink while cheering on our students during the festivities. Families can also participate in the “Send-A-Sip” program by sponsoring sips for Ivy Hill staff members as a special end-of-year thank-you. Donations can be made in $5 increments through the link below and will be pooled for staff to redeem during the event, so there is no need to select a specific teacher or staff member. Any additional funds raised through the program will benefit the Ivy Hill PTA.

It’s a simple and meaningful way to celebrate the amazing staff who make Ivy Hill so special!
