Hello Arkport Community Members,
My name is Todd Wright and I am running for a seat on the Arkport Central School Board of Education. I have two children in the district, Eli and Ava Wright. I am interested in running because now more than ever I believe we need appropriate, levelheaded representation of families in our district.
Currently, I am the Construction Safety Coordinator for the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT). I know and appreciate the importance of implementing a plan and executing it successfully in conjunction with stakeholders to successfully complete a task.
Throughout my time as a member of the Arkport community, I have volunteered at the school through field trips, such as the ski club that is run through the school. I love working with kids and seeing them grow through structured, but challenging opportunities. I have also been intricately involved in the Arkport Junior Baseball program. My wife, Karly Wright, and I have taken over the program and are looking forward to both maximizing and organizing meaningful experiences for our children of the Arkport community.
In closing, I will be a clear voice of support for the school community and want to continue to give back to our wonderful school and community. In my opinion, there is no better place to raise a family. I appreciate your support and welcome the possibility of representing you and your family on the Arkport Central School Board of Education.
