This is a one-of-a-kind video ... can you imagine anyone sitting down in a calf hutch trying to get a newborn calf to drink from a bottle. It takes a "strange" little old lady to be able to get this off and running. This is really the fun part of being on the farm. You run into so many different little things to do that the ordinary person never has the chance to do. Chuckle along with me when you view this video and enjoy the small things in life.

Last Saturday Corry Norby and I went to a DMAP workshop. Had presentations on GPS tracking of bucks during the rut, a new cooperator project to coralate forest brouse to harvested body condition, calculating buck to doe ratios, aging deer by tooth wear, learned about scoring antlers, and saw demonstrations between lead bullets and copper bullets. Travis and Josette had a pre run on Sat noon. The food was hot and delicious, the service was fast and attentive, and the experience was very pleasant. Opens at 7 AM.

As a kid I could always here the lookouts sound off as I was approaching the rookery. Could not fool those birds. A real interesting read. SHARE Thank You ... Carl
