Mother Nature is always a little bit unpredictable and sadly we believed the hype today and decided not to sell at the Greendale Downtown Market due to the possible wet weather.

Darn weathermen and weather apps and their varying forecasts……🫠🥲☔️

If you missed us today and are in need of a restock, then please come see us tomorrow at the Greenfield Farmers Market at Konkel Park on Layton Ave from 10AM-2PM! Mother Nature will hopefully play ball tomorrow (ANY RAIN PLEASE STAY FAR FAR AWAY) so all the vendors can have a great sales day!

Since we've gained numerous followers from across the state and nation in the last few years it felt right to share this photo of Tom and Sue from the recent 2026 Pepin County Dairy Breakfast to explain our history further.

For those of you who may not know, our history of maple syrup production is tied in with dairy production as well. Our founders, Giles and Shirley, (and their kids) operated a small dairy farm from 1955 until 1998. The average herd size year to year was about 50 cows.

Also, in 1992, we hosted the Pepin County Dairy Breakfast on our farm! Even though we no longer have a dairy operation, we (and other Pepin County 🍁 producers) still donate some of our pure maple syrup every year to the Pepin County Dairy Breakfast!
