This week, Mr. Bartlett's first-grade class observed a couple of reactions after learning about geysers. The first was with water, Alka-Seltzer‘s, and dish soap. They covered the top to represent the pressure that happens when geysers erupt. Then, they used coke and mentos! Students had a lot of fun learning out in the beautiful weather.
