🗓️ Aug. 17: Arkansas City Middle School sixth-grade orientation, Arkansas City High School open house (for freshmen and new students), elementary backpack night, and ACMS Stock Your Locker Night
🗓️ Aug. 19: First day of school for grades K-12

Full-day PreK begins Aug. 21, and half-day PreK begins Aug. 24.

If you completed online enrollment during April registration, you’re all set. You do not need to enroll again.

All families are encouraged to log in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal and verify their contact information so they receive back-to-school updates and emergency notifications.

If you have not completed enrollment, please do so as soon as possible.

Need help? Join us for Enrollment Support Day on Thursday, July 23, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Staff will be available to help new and returning families complete the enrollment process.

Families may visit any USD 470 school for help. Adams and PreK families should go to the sixth-grade commons at Arkansas City Middle School and enter through the northwest entrance.

🎒 Is your child ready for PreK? A preschool screening is the first step in enrolling in the Ark City Public Schools PreK program.

📅 Our next screening date is July 14, 2026.

Children who turn 4 on or before Aug. 31 are eligible for PreK. Limited spots are also available for qualifying 3-year-olds.
