Our building will be closed July 20-24 for asbestos removal. On enrollment support day (July 23), you can find us at Ark City Middle School – through the northwest entrance.

🚧 Adams Elementary will be closed July 20-24 for asbestos abatement. This work will prepare the building for renovations included in the district’s voter-approved bond projects.

During this time:
• Staff, visitors and delivery personnel should not enter the building.
• Enrollment help for Adams and PreK families will be available in the sixth-grade commons at Arkansas City Middle School on July 23. Please enter through the northwest entrance.
• The Head Start/PreK office will now be located in the former Ark City Clinic building on Radio Lane.

USD 470 is proud to partner with the Simply Hygiene Program to help support our families!

Families can receive essential hygiene items at NO cost, including:
Bath products
Laundry detergent
Toilet paper
Diapers & wipes
Oral hygiene supplies

After picking up your items, please return outside to pick up your child.

Once a Bear, Always a Bear… and now officially graduating Bulldogs! 💜💛
This morning, Adams Elementary had the privilege of welcoming back our graduating seniors for a special Senior Walk before their big day tomorrow. These students once walked our halls as Adams Bears, and today our students and staff lined the hallways to celebrate them with cheers, smiles, high fives, and lots of encouragement.
It was such a special full-circle moment to see how much they’ve grown since their elementary days, and we could not be more proud of all they have accomplished.
Congratulations to the Class of 2026! Your Adams family is cheering you on as you take the next step as graduating Bulldogs! 🎉🎓

☀️🏃‍♂️ FIELD DAY FUN at Adams Elementary! 🏃‍♀️☀️
Today, our Adams Elementary students from Pre-K through 5th grade had an amazing time participating in Field Day stations put together by Coach E! From teamwork challenges to fun-filled water activities, the smiles and excitement were everywhere! 🎉💙
A huge THANK YOU to the high school (former Adams Bear) students who came down to help run stations and encourage our students throughout the day. Your leadership and energy made a big impact! 👏
We also loved seeing so many parents and family members come out to cheer on our students and enjoy the activities alongside us. Your support and involvement helped make the day even more special! 💛

🎡🎉 WHAT. A. NIGHT. 🎉🎡
Our school carnival was an incredible success, and it truly took a whole community to make it happen!
A HUGE shoutout to the student-athletes from Cowley College 🏀⚽💃🏐 (Basketball, Soccer, Cheer & Dance, Volleyball) for bringing nonstop energy, big smiles, and so much excitement for our students!
We also want to thank our local Arkansas City Police Department 👮‍♂️💙 for showing up, building relationships, and helping make the night safe, fun, and unforgettable!
A very special THANK YOU to our amazing PTO members for all the planning, organizing, and behind-the-scenes work that made this night possible. Your time, effort, and dedication made everything come together seamlessly! 🙌
And finally, THANK YOU to our school staff who volunteered their time after hours to run games, operate the concession stand, support students, and keep everything moving. Your heart for kids shows in everything you do 💛🖤
Our students had an absolute blast and left with memories they won’t forget. This is what community looks like when everyone shows up! 👏🎉

🍕⭐ Student Reward Spotlight ⭐🍕
One of our amazing 5th Graders filled up their reward card and chose a very special reward… helping in the cafeteria for the day! 👏
From making pizzas to helping our kitchen staff, this student worked hard, showed responsibility, and had a blast serving others. We love seeing students use their rewards to learn new skills, help our school family, and shine in different ways! ❤️
