Your child's teacher sees so much more than letters, numbers, and art projects. They celebrate every small victory, comfort big emotions, and cheer for your child every step of the way.

Most importantly, they love watching your child discover new skills, build confidence, and become who God created them to be. ❀️

What is something your child has learned this year that made you smile?

πŸŽ’ Kindergarten is just around the corner!

You can help your child feel confident and ready by focusing on a few simple skills:

We asked some of our teachers about the little things that make their summers shine! πŸŒΈπŸ‰

Meet Ms. Heather - She taught in our Foxes class and has been enjoying fishing on the lake with her family this summer!

We love seeing how our teachers recharge and find inspiration during the summer β€” it makes the school year even more magical for our little learners! πŸ’›

πŸ“Έ Share your own summer favorites in the comments β€” we’d love to hear them!

One of the most valuable aspects of play is the opportunity to learn how to interact with others. During play, children practice sharing, taking turns, cooperating, and solving problems together.

Did you know some of the best ways to strengthen your preschooler's fine motor skills don't require worksheets at all? Learning happens through play!

This summer, try simple activities like:
πŸ’¦ Squeezing water from sponges
🌸 Watering flowers with spray bottles
🧩 Picking up objects with tongs
🎨 Creating with play dough
🌈 Sorting colored buttons on popsicle sticks
✏️ Drawing with sidewalk chalk

These playful activities help strengthen little hands, improve coordination, and build the skills needed for writing, cutting, buttoning, and other everyday tasks.

The best part? Your child will just think they're having fun!

This year, we were so thankful to welcome Ms. Nikki to our team, and from day one, she fit right in like she had always been part of our school family. Together, these two created a classroom filled with laughter, learning, patience, and so much love.

Their teamwork brought calm to busy mornings, joy to everyday moments, and encouragement to every little learner who walked through their door. Watching them support each other and their students has been such a gift this year. 🌿
