Last Thursday was Kite Fest at Selwyn. Students met their teammates for Color Teams Day (coming May 8th!), made kites together, and had a blast flying them in the field!

Fridays at Selwyn look a little different than most schools. Middle school students get to choose from a variety of experiential elective classes all day long. Our 4th Grade students used their Spanish speaking skills on a field trip to La Azteca Meat Market for a scavenger hunt and a delicious lunch at Boka Feliz Latin Restaurant. Parents joined in on the fun and learning!

PE was a blast today! Coach pulled out the sleds from a previous Perspectives trip to White Sands, and classes took advantage of the ice berm created when the parking lot was plowed. A few teachers joined in the fun!

Brrr it's cold outside! Our Friday Middle School Cardboard Creations class designed and built a cardboard castle and accessories for our Kindergarten students to use for indoor recess on this cold and rainy day. They had fun playing pretend and decorating the castle!
