The Sicilian Project

A wonderful day-1 of 2 at the DFW Italian Festival Introduced our mission to many visitors and vendors. What a pleasure to chat with and take a photos with local Meteorologist and festival MC Ali Turiiano (see photo) who shared a recent visit to her ancestral town of Savoca, Sicily. Thank you Sue Giallombardo Walker for weathering the Texas heat along with me :) We get to do it all over again tomorrow! For those of you who would like to learn more about our mission and participate in our yearly fundraiser and raffle drawing click on the following link to make your tax deductible donation: https://www.pledge.to/2027-meet-greet-fundraiser Grazie!

For several years now, in addition to young Sicilians, we have also been offering free English courses to adults who need to improve their language skills for professional reasons. New courses for adults are also planned for 2027. Thank you for your continued support of our mission.
