Happy Birthday to us, my built in best friend. 😉🤍

This year has brought a lot of change, and I have a feeling there’s a lot more ahead. One of the biggest gifts this year has been learning to hear God’s voice and slowly letting go of years of religion. I’m getting to know a God who heals, who isn’t afraid of my mess, and who calls me into freedom & trust. 

I’m also so thankful for another year of creating, traveling, meeting incredible people, and helping more women see themselves with a little more kindness and confidence.

I’m really grateful for everyone who’s been part of this year! Here’s to whatever this next chapter brings. Happy Birthday to us!

Weekly pose tip:

Good posture IS one of the most important components of a pretty photo! (Thank you to my teenage ballet teacher!)

I always tell the women in front of my camera to imagine a string at the back of their neck gently lifting them up

Then, breathe gently as you roll your shoulders down your back and gently tilt your chin down.👌

If you still feel tense or that imagery isn’t working for you, pull your shoulder blades together, take a deep breath, then roll your shoulders down.

This one things makes such a big difference on camera.

As a past model and current photographer, posing for photos is one of my favorite parts of the photshoot. So much of this is teaching you how to move, not just pose. I’ll guide you the whole way so it looks effortless.
Post tip of the week: movement. A huge part of looking good on camera and getting a full gallery is small, intentional movements, think subtle shoulder shifts, slow spins, and photogenic walking. Let me know if you guys would want some specific videos on how to do this
