Mrs. Wallace's 2nd grade has been busy this week exploring the properties of different materials based on texture, flexibility, and whether light passes through. They are also representing numbers and organizing them in multiple ways, composing and decomposing place value up to 1,200! Hands-on learning makes learning fun! 💡

One of our FAVORITE Argyle traditions started back up today… Senior Buddies! ❤️🖤

Our students were SO excited to have their senior buddies visit their classrooms and spend some time with them! We love seeing these special connections form between our youngest Eagles and our seniors!! 🦅 Thursday mornings are our favorite!!!

✈️ Variables in Action! ✈️

Our 5th-grade scientists had a little fun today with paper airplanes in science! Students tested how changing the size of the paper (our independent variable) affected the flight of their planes while practicing how variables work in a real experiment.

Learning science is always more fun when you can throw it!

Parent Curriculum Night is TOMORROW for PreK, Kinder, and 1st grade!

A Chester Hunt Around AWE! 🦝

Our kindergarteners put The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn into action with a fun Chester Hunt around campus! They followed clues while exploring the principal's office, cafeteria, front office, nurse’s office, library, art room, and more, learning their way around their new school along the way!

The hunt ended back in their classrooms with a sweet surprise from Chester… a Hershey’s Kiss!

What a fun way to learn, explore, and feel at home at AWE!
