A Boston Terrier presented with a Descmetocele, one of the more challenging ocular cases a veterinarian can face.

A descemetocele occurs when deep layers of the cornea become dangerously thin, placing the eye at risk for rupture.

AlphaFlo® was incorporated into the care plan at the veterinarian's discretion. Dr. Mark later presented this case during one of our bi-weekly clinical webinars, walking through the clinical decision making and the timeline from initial presentation to week three.

The side by side images in this post tell a story that is worth seeing for yourself.

When a dog presents with a soft tissue concern, the conversation about next steps matters.

AlphaFlo® is a ready-to-use, acellular canine amniotic tissue allograft used to supplement and protect canine tissues. It contains biologically active factors, including exosomes, growth factors, hyaluronic acid, and extracellular matrix proteins naturally found in amniotic tissue, cryopreserved to maintain their native state. No centrifugation. No prep time. No in-house processing required.

For practices looking to expand their regenerative options, AlphaFlo® integrates into existing workflows at the veterinarian’s discretion.
