LONG IMPORTANT POST! PLEASE READ AND LIKE SO I KNOW YOU’VE SEEN THIS ! Beautiful things have happened !! The Book Nook isn’t quite ready for books yet , BUT it is ready for students !! We will start tutoring the Tuesday after Labor Day !! I’m so excited to share this space with you !!
Things you need to know :
* come thru the coffee shop to the stairs on your left to our tutoring spot .
* there’s a park just about 2 blocks south for the kids to play
*rainy/ cold, snowy days days kids that are not tutoring can go lay games, read books and color at the tables downstairs in the coffee shop.
* we are so crazy blessed to have this space so please (you are always so good at this !!) be respectful of the coffee shop and its items as they are not mine .
*your cost isn’t going to change ! Everything stays the same , we just get a beautiful space to call our own !
* please share the word about tutoring and all that will be going on at The Book Nook . Flyers will be going out as well as a page (maybe- ONLY for things Book Nook related - not tutoring )

I that’s it for now !! Can’t wait to show you the new place this week!!

Love these old books !! I found a second one for a kiddo who loved the book right away- her first “chapter” book! I try to buy the book the child first learns to read and loves . Each book then holds a special place in their own heart ! 💛

Well, how can I not brag in this girl right here !! She’s been working SO HARD ! She always has a good attitude and a lot of great s***k. Today, for the first time ever she read 11 pages of a brand new-to-her book. We have a word list to work on, but she read it like she’d already seen it several times . Something clicked today !! I’m so proud of her and all of her tenacity !! Way to go Wren👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏!

Sometimes tutoring means homework and reading for the tutor instead of the student ! I’m always trying to find the best ways to help my students . Just as little light Saturday reading !

These packages contain all the work we do in most every session, but my heart contains all the smiles and expressions of each child as they learn how to read their first words ,
which turns to sentences , which turns into books ❤️

Constantly collecting goodies to help my kiddos with vision strength ! They see it as a game , I see it as exercise for the eyes and mind !
