Ardmore Family Literacy We promote family literacy through adult GED education. Ardmore Family Literacy is here to help families.

Our goal is to be a positive educational experience–and we do that by providing a unique learning opportunity based on students’ needs. We also mentor parents to help with the transition to work or college. The Ardmore Barbara Bush Literacy Corps was the first literacy program in the nation to carry the brand name Barbara Bush, and we’re proud of our affiliate status with the national Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy. We welcome community and business partners, who are critically important to our incentive-based program model.

CLASS CANCELLATION — SEPTEMBER 30

Out of an abundance of caution, Ardmore Family Literacy will be canceling evening classes tonight, September 30, due to the potential for severe storms and flooding in our area.

The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority. We encourage everyone to stay weather aware, avoid unnecessary travel, and stay safe.

We appreciate your understanding and will update here accordingly! 💙

Stay safe, everyone!

A full classroom and a room full of people choosing to invest in themselves and their future. ❤️

Every student here has already taken the hardest step: starting. Now, with every class, every lesson, and every bit of hard work, they’re one step closer to earning their GED and opening new doors for what comes next.

We’re proud to be part of their journey, and even prouder of the commitment they’re making to themselves. 🎓

Keep showing up. Keep moving forward. You’re getting closer.
