SouthernTech SouthernTech is your Community Technology Center for high school students, adults and workforce devel

• Southern Tech is an educational center that provides technical training for high school juniors, seniors and adult students. Businesses may also obtain training, including customized training, for their employees through Corporate and Career development.

• The Conference Center contains meeting space available for seminars and meetings with catering upon request.

• Short-term Training is available for Adults ages 18 and over through the Corporate and Career Development which offers classes in the evenings and on weekends. These courses cover a broad spectrum of subjects including personal interest courses, training to increase skills for a current job or prepare for a new job. Online courses are also available for those seeking to learn from the comfort of their own home.

Our friends at Heroes with Hope heard about SouthernTech's Eddie's Roadrunner Recharge Pantry, where we partnered with Dot Foods to donate food and snacks to students in need. The United Way of South Central Oklahoma helped connect Heroes with Hope with us. Heroes with hope wanted to join in on the pantry and donated a large number of hygiene and personal care items to help us continue expanding this resource for our students. SouthernTech's Nurse Assisting, Medical Assisting, and Biotechnology students participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer's in Ardmore as part of their October HOSA Act of Service Project. A little rain couldn't dampen their spirits. We're proud of these future professionals for showing up even in the wet conditions to give back to the community and show they want to make a difference.
