WAIT!!! We are empty!

Fall is among us so as you’re switching out your closets keep us in mind! In August we held a Back to School Bash and 250 individuals accessed clean clothing completely FREE! That was in addition to the hundreds of children our AIM Closets have already and continue to help this year. The impact is great and shows the need is very real. So it’s time for us to restock!

Items we are in need of :

* New or gently used Boys & Girls clothing of all sizes
*New or gently used coats -boys and girls
* new socks - boys and girls
*new undergarments -boys and girls
*shampoo/conditioner
*baby shampoo
*new pillows
*new pillow cases
*always in need of tote bags! The .99 bags at TJ Maxx work wonders when packing a go bag for a child in need.


*Snacks for children and families that visit us. Often times they come hungry and a snack cake or pack of crackers helps more than you might think.

Children can't wait for support after abuse.

Oklahoma's Children's Advocacy Centers are experiencing the effects of declining Crime Victims Fund resources while continuing to serve thousands of children and families each year.

September is Su***de Prevention Month. 💙💜

Su***de prevention is something we can all be a part of. Learning how to recognize signs of distress, respond with compassion, and connect someone to support can help create a community where people feel seen, heard, and supported.

Our friends at Sara's Project offer two trainings to build these important skills:

💙 ASIST (Applied Su***de Intervention Skills Training) — A 2-day workshop focused on su***de first aid, supporting someone experiencing thoughts of su***de, and connecting them with additional help.

💜 safeTALK (Su***de Alertness For Everyone) — A half-day workshop that helps participants recognize signs of su***de and connect someone to intervention and support resources.

Both workshops are approved for CEUs.

Sara’s Project in Ardmore, Oklahoma, offers free su***de prevention training to help the community recognize and respond to su***de risks, aiming to remove stigma and make Ardmore a safer place. Sessions cover safe talk techniques and in-depth intervention strategies, open to anyone interested.
