What a special morning at Oak Hall!

We loved welcoming our very own Oak Hall parent and author, Anna Prichard Brown, to the library today! Anna shared her newest book, Gerald the Guard Donkey and the Big Storm, with our Preschool–4th Grade students, and we loved getting to hear the story straight from the author herself!

Thank you, Anna, for sharing your time, talent, and love of reading with our students!

And don’t forget - all three of Anna’s books are available at Nonna’s Bookseller, also owned by an Oak Hall family. We love an opportunity to support a local author, a local bookseller, AND our Oak Hall families!

We’re so excited to welcome our very own Oak Hall parent and author, Anna Brown, to the library tomorrow!

Anna will be reading her newest book, Gerald the Guard Donkey and the Big Storm, to our Preschool - 4th Grade students. What a special treat to have one of our own share her love of storytelling with our Owls!

Happy Birthday, Mrs. Bartgis!

Today we are celebrating our wonderful second-grade teacher, Mrs. Bartgis!

Mrs. Bartgis is one of those special teachers who leaves a lasting impression on the hearts of her students and families. Her kindness, patience, enthusiasm, and genuine love for her students make her classroom a place where our Owls feel encouraged, supported, and excited to learn.

She is so very loved at Oak Hall, and we are incredibly thankful for the joy and dedication she brings to our school each day!

Charleston Wrap is a WRAP!

WOW, Oak Hall! You showed up in a BIG way for this year’s Charleston Wrap fundraiser!

We set a goal of $25,000 and absolutely blew it out of the water with $36,117 in total sales! That’s more than $11,000 ABOVE our goal!

-47.9% of our students participated
-$36,117 in total sales
-Orders came from 21 different states!

Double the Birthday Wishes!

Today we’re celebrating two wonderful members of our Oak Hall family, Mr. Saner and Miss Elliott!

Mr. Saner, our Middle School Math Teacher, brings patience, encouragement, and a love of learning to his classroom each day, challenging our Owls to think critically, problem-solve, and grow in confidence.

Miss Elliott, our Lower School Extended Day Assistant, brings a caring and helpful spirit to our youngest Owls and helps make their afternoons at Oak Hall extra special.

We are so thankful for all they each bring to our school community and hope they both have a wonderful day filled with plenty of celebration!
