This week, as we prepared to celebrate Mother’s Day, our students enjoyed creating special gifts and spending time together at our “Munchkins with Mom” celebration on the playground! 💐☀️

We are so grateful for all of the moms, grandmas, and special women who fill our children’s lives with love, encouragement, and care. Thank you for celebrating with us and for all that you do each and every day! ❤️

Our students had a wonderful time on their spring field trip this week to Riverbend Environmental Education Center! 🌿

They explored a variety of habitat stations, including the meadow, forest, and pond—discovering the beauty of nature all around them. It was a fun-filled day of learning, curiosity, and outdoor adventure! 🌼🐸🌳

Happy Easter! 🐣 We had an egg-stra fun time at our annual Easter program and egg hunt! Our children did a wonderful job singing the songs they’ve been practicing. We are so proud of them!

A big thank you to Mrs. Reynolds, Mrs. Rauer, Ms. Mandy, Mrs. O’Connor, and Ms. D for all the time and care they put into making this special day so memorable! 💛

Happy St. Patrick’s Day from APWPS! 🍀 We celebrated with festive crafts, special treats, and a classroom leprechaun hunt—shamrocks hidden everywhere! A big thank-you to Mrs. O’Connor for the delicious snack that made our day extra special.🌈

Last week, our Discovery Class (age 3) celebrated Dr. Seuss’s birthday in true Seuss-tastic style! 🎉

We read beloved classics like The Cat in the Hat and One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish, and the classroom quickly filled with colorful, creative Seuss-inspired artwork. Take a look at some of the fun we had! 🎏

Throughout the year, our Pre-K class explores the alphabet one letter at a time. They’ve reached the letter R, and along the way, created some wonderful projects! Enjoy these highlights from their weeks learning Q (quilts and queens) and R (roses and roosters)—hands-on learning at its best! 👸🌹🐓

We love welcoming community helpers and special guests into our classrooms! This year, we were excited to welcome the Montgomery County Association for the Blind, who visited to provide vision screenings and teach our students about keeping their eyes healthy and safe. Thank you for helping us care for our students in such an important way! 👀💙

Our 3-year-old Discovery and Pre-K classes celebrated with festive classroom parties this week. We had so much fun making special hot chocolate and enjoying lots of heart-shaped cookies and treats! Thank you to our wonderful parents and teachers for helping make it such a sweet celebration.

Our Pre-K class studied the letter "P" this week with PJs and Pancakes! Mrs. Rauer and Ms. Mandy's class made their own pancakes in their class room and then had a very special snack! 🥞😋
