Teacher Appreciation....Megan is a teacher whose love and care for the children run deep. She connects effortlessly with each person who gets to cross her path and you feel like you have a friend for life. She comes every day ready for anything and and prepared to dive in and work. Thank you for being an important part of YMS! 🥰

I am so incredibly proud of my sons Dino and Jake who work with me 3 mornings a week at YMS. They each bring their own brand of kindness and authenticity to working with young children and they are both so wonderful at it! I love watching them be a part of it all: playing, helping, learning and teaching. ❤️

Teacher Appreciation Week...what a week to feel the love and kindness 🥰! These photos are from my first 2 years of teaching 30 years ago at Near North Montessori School in Chicago. Teaching has inspired my life, kept me young at heart, and allowed me to play and be silly a lot. More than anything it connects me with so many amazing individuals young and old and helps me remember how interconnected we all are. I am grateful that I continue to be inspired by all the families (and fellow educators) I have the honor to know and love. 🩵

Oscar, our bearded dragon (rescued from one of my teenagers' rooms 😂) is always interesting for the children, who adore taking care of him. Watching him and feeding him and helping clean out his tank never disappoints. 🥰
