VOLLEYBALL~~
Our lady Rams volleyball team is STILL UNDEFEATED! 🏐🔥 THE STREAK CONTINUES!

Our volleyball team beat North Buncombe last night at home. These girls keep showing up, putting in the work, and getting it DONE! There’s another home game this Wednesday at 4:30. Come cheer on this amazing group of athletes!

CROSS COUNTRY~
The Valley Springs cross country teams put in great performances yesterday at Carrier Park.

The girls took a close second behind the quartet of Charley Becker, Quinn Kiger, Elyah Deleon, and Julia Crave all running sub-15 minutes. Stacey Sevilla-Hernandez, Nora Mattson, and Kathryn Moore were three more of many Rams who ran their fastest times of the season.

The boys, led by Andrew Douglas’ third place finish on his 14th birthday, won the meet. Douglas ran a PR of 12:28, while the ever-consistent Reid Wingert, Grant Gunnell, Colvin Anthony, and Darrel Gituma rounded out the top five for the Rams. Hudson Faber had a big PR of 13:20, while Andrius Pavlavicius, Jamison Sechrist, and Grant Davis all ran their fastest times of the season, too.

The team knows its work is not yet done, though, as the champioship meet is next Monday. Good work, Rams!
