Day 1 of MASSP's Align, Build, Lead, Retreat. Admin's got time to network, learn about their leadership styles and how to become a Hope Merchant in their schools.

The Minnesota Association of School Office Professionals (MASOP) held their conference this week in Waite Park. They started out with Keynote Speaker Sherlonda Sharp and finished it up with the Superintendent of St. Cloud Area Schools, Dr. Laurie Putnum, as their luncheon speaker.

They were able to attended a great range of concurrent sessions that included learning about restorative practices, polishing up their Google knowledge, school law, trauma informed responses, and creating and sharing joy in their buildings.

Day 3 - MASSP kicked off Day 3 with Keynote Speaker Matt Mervis showing us the ins and outs of using AI and how to make it work for education.

Attendees then continued on to more concurrent sessions where they were able to get more AI information, learn about ways to work with your student leaders and community and school planning.

The MASSP Summer Conference wouldn't be complete without BINGO Bob! New this year, we auctioned off MASSP golf flags to support MASL and help get students access to great leadership events.

Day 4 - MASSP closed off its conference with the legislative and national update.

Thank you to all those that attended and presented. This was our largest conference to date and we hope to break records again next year! Hope to see you all again for the 2027 Winter Conference in Minneapolis.

Day 2 - Recognition Banquet Part 2. MASSP closed out the evening with honoring its retiring members. Congratulations on a job well done!

Day 2 - Recognition Banquet Part 1. MASSP celebrated it's 2026 MN Principals and Assistant Principals of the Year and listened to amazing speeches from the 2026 MN High School and Middle Level Assistant Principals of the Year.

The 2026 Division Principals and Assistant Principals of the Year were also celebrated, along with our service award recipients. We said "Thank You" to our leaving Board Members and acknowledged the Executive Team.

Day 2 - Keynote Speaker, Dr. Tron Young, brought energy and perspective to our attendees with his "Be the Thermostat, Not the Thermometer" and gave us a new set of ABCs to keep in mind.

After Dr. Young, attendees made their way to concurrent sessions that ranged from attendance, PSEO, professional development and engagement.

Day 1 of the MASSP Summer Conference! We kicked off the conference with our Ignite program and heard from Rogers High School, Horizon East, South View Middle School Edina, and St. Francis High School. We finished the evening with our host, Southeast Division, doing the prize patrol. Stayed tuned for more fun at Breezy Point Resort!
