For anyone wishing to make a donation by check to the Wayne Paul West Scholarship Fund, please make all checks payable to:

Please include “Wayne Paul West Scholarship Fund” in the memo line of the check or include a note with your check stating that your donation is designated for the scholarship fund.

It is very important that checks are made payable to the Archer City ISD Education Foundation so that we can properly receive and designate all donations to the Wayne Paul West Scholarship Fund.

The Archer City ISD Education Foundation is honored to establish the Wayne Paul West Class of 2031 Memorial Scholarship in loving memory of Wayne Paul. 💛🐾

This memorial scholarship will remain in place as Wayne’s classmates continue their journey through Archer City ISD. When the Class of 2031 reaches their senior year, one or more graduating students from his class will receive a scholarship in Wayne’s honor.

Through this scholarship, our hope is that Wayne’s memory will continue alongside his classmates and always remain a special part of the Class of 2031.

For years to come, this scholarship will serve as a reminder that Wayne Paul will always be remembered, always be loved, and always be a part of his Wildcat family.
Our hearts remain with the West family, Wayne’s classmates, teachers, friends, and everyone whose life was touched by him. It is a privilege for the Archer City ISD Education Foundation to help honor Wayne Paul’s memory in this special way. 💛

We are excited to begin building a strong foundation for the future of Archer City ISD, and we invite our community to be part of it.

🌟 Introducing Steve Tucker, At-Large Member of the Archer City ISD Education Foundation 🌟

Steve Tucker and his wife, Lydia, have proudly called Archer County home since 1989 after Steve graduated from Texas Tech University. Together, they raised three sons, all graduates of Archer City High School. Today, they are blessed with seven grandchildren, four of whom currently attend Archer City Elementary School.

Steve has a long-standing passion for serving Archer City and its schools. He dedicated 12 years to the Archer City ISD School Board, where he worked alongside fellow board members and district leadership to support students, teachers, and the continued success of Archer City ISD.

As an At-Large member of the Archer City ISD Education Foundation, Steve is honored to continue serving the community that has meant so much to his family for more than 35 years. He is committed to helping provide opportunities that enrich education, support teachers, and empower students to reach their full potential.

🌟 Introducing Steven Schroeder, At-Large Member of the Archer City ISD Education Foundation🌟

Steven has called Archer City home for more than 50 years and is a proud 1989 graduate of Archer City High School. Alongside his wife, Jenny, he owns and operates TexDel, Inc. He also serves as the Mayor of Archer City and is a member of the Windthorst Federal Credit Union Board of Directors. Steven and Jenny are proud parents of two daughters, Audrey and Sara, who are also Archer City High School graduates.

As a former ACISD School Board member, Steven understands the financial challenges facing public education and the limitations of traditional school funding. That experience inspired his commitment to the Archer City ISD Education Foundation and its mission to provide resources beyond the district's regular operating budget.

Steven believes every teacher should have the opportunity to bring innovative ideas to the classroom and every student should have access to meaningful educational experiences. He is proud to help build a Foundation that creates opportunities that might not otherwise be possible and invests in the future of Archer City ISD.
