We are proud that the training programs offered through CTS have made such a positive impact not only on Northwest State Community College's enrollment, but also on the learners we serve and the companies that partner with us.

"Enrollment reached a record 3,210.8 FTE in fiscal year 2025 and topped that with 3,394.3 FTE in fiscal year 2026. FTE, or full-time equivalency, measures all students enrolled in for-credit programs. The college credits the record to its workforce development team, Custom Training Solutions, along with recent modest growth in its traditional student population." Our latest EDGE orientation was extra special, because two program graduates joined us to encourage the next round of participants. Brett & Luke completed a pre-apprenticeship program during high school and participated in the EDGE Program after high school. Within three months, both were employed.

Special thanks to Silgan Containers in Napoleon for allowing Brett & Luke to spend some time with our current EDGE students. The only thing more powerful than telling program participants what is possible is connecting them with real-world success stories who can show them what is possible.
