Congratulations to Archbold FFA 2026 graduate Nicholas Fry for being named a National FFA Proficiency Finalist, Top 4 in the Nation, for the Diversified Crop-Entrepreneurship Award! He will compete in a virtual interview this fall and will find out if he is the National Winner on stage at the National FFA Convention on Friday October 23rd.

This award is a result of many hours of keeping accurate farm records and showcasing his knowledge of crop production. It takes a lot of work to get to this point, and it is very well deserved.

Nicholas is the first National Finalist from Archbold since 2007! If you see him out and about, be sure to congratulate him!

Some days are better than others, but today was better than most.
Back in the fall our program was approached by members of the Rotary, asking if we would construct a Habitat For Humanity Playhouse if they sponsored one. That time came this week, and our students put in a tremendous few days making sure it was painted and put together in time for the reveal to the family this afternoon. To make it even more special, the playhouse went to the family of a teacher who passed away earlier this year.
This is the kind of day that will stay with all the students involved for a lifetime, and it was a pleasure to be a part of it.

Convention 2026 in the rear-view mirror. Spent the morning touring the Ohio State University Meat Lab before watching our State Degree candidates receive their Degrees. Glad to have made it home safe and to be putting a bow on another successful year!
