FCCC I.T. Academy had the honor of hosting, via Zoom, guest speaker Brendan Degryse, a 2022 I.T. Academy - Computer Programming & Game Design graduate now excelling at the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York. Brendan shared his FCCC journey and insights from his second year at the Academy, where he's currently a Cadet Corporal majoring in Computer Science alongside military training. Thanks, Brendan, for inspiring our students with your incredible story! I.T. Instructor, Matt Geiger, coordinated the presentation.

Senior Computer Programming students are cross-training in the Cybersecurity lab this semester. Today they worked on some PC repair and network wiring labs. Last semester, the Cybersecurity students took Python Programming as their cross-training.

Our BPA students (IT Academy, Medical Office and Accounting) raise all the money to sponsor this Special Olympics bowling event and the spring track meet too. Then we go run the events and assist the Olympians. When seniors look back on their memories of two years at Four County, these events are usually cited as favorites. We always have a blast!

Here is a radio interview from WQCT in Bryan with one of our students, Brendan Degryse, who has been excepted to the United States Military Academy at West Point and is currently waiting on results from the United States Air Force Academy. We are super-proud of this young man.
