Hello everyone, my name is Kasey Portanova, otherwise known as Miss. P. I have been the long-term art substitute for the Wallenpaupack Area North Primary since October 2025.

Teaching art at both the elementary and middle school levels has been one of the most rewarding experiences, and I have loved watching the students grow in their creativity, confidence, and artistic skills.

This summer, I am considering offering small-group art lessons for students interested in exploring a variety of artistic media and developing foundational art skills. Lessons would focus on creativity, foundation art skills, and building confidence while introducing students to drawing, painting, watercolor, colored pencil, mixed media, and other art techniques.

Proposed Program Details:

- Sunday art sessions throughout the summer
- 90-minute classes
- Small-group instruction
- Ages and skill levels grouped appropriately when possible
- Students may attend weekly, biweekly, or monthly
- Cost: $30 per session ($20/hour)
- Students may bring their own supplies. A recommended supply list will be provided prior to the start of classes.
- Families who prefer not to shop for materials may purchase a Summer Artist Supply Kit prepared by Miss Portanova for a one-time fee of $30.

At this time, I am simply looking to gauge interest. The final schedule, class location, and age groupings will be determined based on the number of interested families. Depending on enrollment, classes may be held at a local community space, library meeting room, pavilion, or other public location.
