Join Morris Elementary Students for a Park Cleanup!
Friday, April 25 | 11AM–1PM | Hiller Park

Ms. Inzer & Miss Mackenzie’s 4th and 5th graders from Morris Elementary just wrapped up a lesson on plastics in the ocean—and now they’re putting their learning into action! Join these young changemakers as they lead a community cleanup to help protect our waterways.

Schedule:
🧽 11:00–12:00 | Park Cleanup
🧺 12:00–1:00 | Optional Picnic Celebration

This event is supported by Green Campus and open to all! We’re especially encouraging Cal Poly Humboldt students, staff, and faculty to come out, wear your fieldwork lanyards, and be present as friendly, fingerprinted adults in support of these students’ environmental leadership.

💌 Write a note to someone who’s helped you this semester—another student, faculty, staff, or host teacher
🌷 Deliver it in person, in class, or slide it under their door!

We had such a great time tabling at Spring Preview this weekend with our LSEE Program Leader Dr. AmyK Conley ✨, School of Education Department Co-Chair Dr. jim woglom 🎨, and LSEE Program Coordinator & Advisor Hallie Lepphaille 📋!

We met so many amazing future educators from all over California — Sacramento 🏙️, Sebastopol 🌻, LA 🌴, and more — and spent the day chatting about our favorite thing in the world: teaching! ✏️📚❤️
