Fire Arts Class registration starts today on our website at 9AM! Make sure to pick the class you want from our schedule and complete registration asap to secure your spot, classes can fill quickly.
Please note that due to last minute scheduling changes, Class 10 will be taught by Jess Swan! We are excited to have her teach an 8 week class again and anticipate it will be great!
The Fall class session starts September 14 and ends November 7.
We look forward to seeing our students back at the studio!

Our Fall Class Schedule is here! Swipe through to see all our class offerings. We have a full lineup of both wheel throwing and hand building classes, many of the familiar times and teachers that you love, as well as new classes and workshops to keep things fresh! New classes include:
Glazed and Confused, a class all about glaze and glaze techniques,
Starting with Slabs, a slab focused handbuilding class offered at our Phoenix Ceramic Supply,
Lava Glaze Workshop, all about the chemistry and application of eruptive and cratering glazes, offered at our cone 6 annex.
Other newer or returning classes include Mid-Range Glaze Deep Dive and Raku Workshop!
We also continue offering kids classes, to bring forth the next generation of ceramic artists and creatives!

Class Registration is Monday August 24th, at 9AM on our website! Make sure to decide which class you want ahead of time, classes can fill fast!

We still have availability in Elaine Shore’s Tips N’ Tricks on the Wheel Class!

Elaine is willing to have students sign up for individual weeks if they can’t take the whole 8 week class, so feel free to drop in for class sessions that you can and we will prorate it based on the number of weeks! Email us to sign up!

“If you have been throwing for a while now but are not making much progress, this class is for you. Sometimes it’s just a matter of hand position, wheel speed or choice of tool. Receive targeted, individualized attention to improve your throwing, centering, pulling up and trimming as you learn new techniques and tips that will help you bring your throwing ability to the next level. Students are able to make a great deal of progress in a short time. Elaine will also do wheel throwing demonstrations and discuss design aesthetics to help you create more interesting forms that reflect your unique style. This is a fun, hands-on class. Must have prior wheel-throwing experience. Age 18 & over. (10 students). CONE 10 CLAY ONLY.”

We have several exciting new classes and instructors lined up for our Fire Arts summer class session!
Lily Haas is teaching a mid range hand building class at our next door clay shop, Phoenix Ceramic Supply
Kristin Dalziel, one of our esteemed technicians, is going to play with fire in the Raku Workshop!
Sage Balassa is teaching one of our Ceramics for Kids classes!
Lucia Rodriguez is teaching one of our Beginning Wheelthrowing classes!
Welcome to our new teachers and thank you for joining our summer class session!

This weekend and next, May 2-3, 9-10 is the Fire Arts Spring Sale, featuring the handmade ceramic works of talented ceramic community!
We have been busy making beautiful planters for your garden, as well as bowls, mugs, vases, sculptures and more!
Get a gift for Mother’s Day or something to cheer you up in Spring!
Our members will be staffing the sale on weekends from 10am-4pm, but feel free to stop by any week days to check the sale out, we will be here!

Lidded Vessels with Bob Raymond and Tips N’ Tricks on the Wheel with Elaine Shore each have 2 spots or more, you could sign up with a friend!
