Congratulations to our 2026 California Conference for the Advancement of Ceramic Art (CCACA) winners! 🎨

Cal Poly Humboldt ceramic students collected several awards at the 39th annual CCACA’s, including:

🥇 Socks Lucas won first place amongst universities for “Surrender.”
🥈Natalie Anthone won second place amongst universities for “Wisdom Seeker.”
🌟 Mia Harmon won the Exhibition Award for “Little Readers.”

Critical Race, Gender & Sexuality Studies (CRGS) — a life-changing degree! 🙌

Before getting their Master’s in Counseling Psychology, Alumni Tai Parker was a double major in CRGS and Psychology with a minor in Women’s Studies, which led them to their role as Clinical Manager & Q***r Programs Coordinator at Two Feathers Native American Family Services 👏

This Saturday is the 40th anniversary performance of the Humboldt Calypso Band! 🥁🎶

Founded in the spring of 1986 by Cal Poly Humboldt Music Professor Eugene Novotney, this special milestone concert will showcase internationally acclaimed guest artists Liam Teague and Josanne Francis, alongside rising young steelpan performer Jaden Teague-Núñez.

Come support student-led theatre and experience the story of would-be-heroes on their quest to slay Medusa, the famous monster with snakes for hair whose gaze turns mortals to stone… except for the young Perseus. 🎭
