✨ Learning Together, Growing Together ✨

Our Family Literacy class for moms with babies is such a special place to learn and connect! This class is designed for mothers whose little ones are not quite ready for our preschool program, but who are still eager to continue working toward their own educational goals.

The best part? Moms stay in the room with their children while learning alongside a teacher and supportive tutors—creating a warm, welcoming environment for both parent and child.

This past week, learning was full of smiles and laughter as moms played bingo while practicing prepositions—proving that education can be both fun and meaningful!

We are so proud of the hard work and dedication of these moms as they invest in their futures while caring for their little ones. 💛

Interested in joining or learning more? Reach out—we’d love to have you!

📚✨ The library came to us!

We were excited to welcome the DeSoto County Library to the Family Service Center, where 20 students from our ESOL, GED, and Family Literacy classes registered for their very own library cards! 🎉

Students who already had library cards also got to explore the library’s online collection, discovering a world of digital books and audiobooks they can enjoy anytime, anywhere. 📱🎧📖

Thank you, DeSoto County Library, for bringing the joy of reading and valuable resources right into our community! ❤️
