Congratulations to all of our amazing young musicians that performed at FBA District 18's Solo & Ensemble Assessment! It was a strong showing of the hard work and talent that we have here in DeSoto!

Our Winter Concert is this Thursday (Dec. 11th) at 7:30pm at the Family Service Center Annex! Come out and enjoy an evening of music with our concert bands and percussion ensemble. All are welcome and admission is FREE!

Happy Veterans Day from the Blazing Blue Band! We are honored every year to participate in our local Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony.

Thank you to all those who have served, and a special shout out to all the band alumni in the military!

Last week, we celebrated our seniors at our last marching band rehearsal and Senior Night! 👑

We are so grateful for these students' dedication, hard work, and commitment to the Blazing Blue Band! If you can believe it, all of them were beginners on their instruments in their freshman year!

Congratulations, seniors, on all your progress over these past 4 years and ending your high school marching career on a high note! 🎵

The Blazing Blue Band earned a rating of EXCELLENT at FBA District 18 Marching MPA in their last trip "Back to the 80s"! This is the highest rating the band has earned since 2011!

Incredibly proud of the hard work of the students and everyone involved that made this such a memorable and spectacular marching season.

Come out tomorrow at 6 p.m. to hear what we've been working on so far this year! It's an outdoor concert, so make sure to bring your own lawn chair or blanket as seating will be limited.

In addition to being named Class Champion, we also won Best Music, Best Visual, Best General Effect, Best Colorguard, and Best Percussion in our class!
