Hazel Jung has been an Orchesis member for the past three years and has learned that patience and commitment are the driving factors of success. Hazel has been dancing since she was two years old, and her fun fact is that she is left-handed. Her favorite memory is pranking the officers and directors on April Fools’ Day. Hazel will continue her education at University of California, Davis, majoring in Dance. Go Aggies!!!

If you’re in grades TK–8, Orchesis Dance Company invites you to join our Summer Dance Camp! The camp will run June 8–12 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the AHS Dance Studio.
Participants will be grouped by grade level and spend the week learning a variety of dance styles from Orchesis members. Dancers will build skills, confidence, and friendships in a fun, supportive environment.
Throughout the week, campers will prepare for a special end-of-camp showcase performance for family and friends to celebrate everything they’ve learned.
Whether you love to dance or want to give it a try, this is a fun and active way to spend a summer week. Be sure to register! camp registration includes a Summer Dance Camp T-shirt!
Just bring your energy, a smile, and a lunch each day. We can’t wait to dance with you!

Kathleen has been an Orchesis member for the past three years and has served as both President and Outreach Officer. Through this experience, she has learned to dance for herself and treasures the irreplaceable friendships and memories she has made through Orchesis. Kathleen has been dancing since she was three years old, and her fun fact is that she has never eaten watermelon and is scared of going upside down. Her favorite memories include backstage moments during PAC rehearsals, the ODC chant before the curtain rises, and Yogurtland car debriefs after practice. Kathleen will continue her education at University of California, Irvine, majoring in Public Health Policy. Go Anteaters!!!

Rachel has been an Orchesis member for the past three years. Through this experience, she has learned not to be afraid of trying new things and stepping out of her comfort zone. Rachel has been dancing for 14 years, and her fun fact is that she needs to take at least an hour nap every day. Her favorite memory is connecting with the company and continuing to grow in their relationships with one another. Rachel will continue her education at San Diego State University, majoring in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in Elementary Education. Go Aztecs!!!
