Hello Families,
We wanted to take a moment to remind you to be collecting Box Tops over the summer. You can find Box Tops on lots of packages .. everything from school supplies to taco shells! Each regular Box Top clipping is worth 10 cents. Ten cents can add up quickly when we all turn them in!

Boosters and Safety Patrols

Our students have put in a lot of hard work this school year and we want to celebrate with them before they head out this summer. Please join us at the 4th Qtr Awards Assembly as we cheer them on. The assembly schedule is below:

Friday, May 18th
8am - Kindergarten
9am - First grade

Monday, May 21st
8am - Second grade
9am - Third Grade

Tuesday, May 22nd
8am - Fourth Grade

Wednesday, May 23rd
9am - Fifth Grade Promotion at Turner Center

Per district office, students will be released for the summer on Thursday, May 24th at 11:30 a.m.

Major Field Day Changes:
Due to the rain and storms, we've made the decision to change field days this week. We will not be able to have outside activities.

We have, however, worked with the inflatable attraction company Bounce Mon to bring 4 awesome inflatable slides, obstacle courses, and bounce houses to the gym so the students can still enjoy an end of the year celebration.
This means that you will not need to send your students with water clothes/shoes, or towels. We will have regularly scheduled specials - that is when your student will get to enjoy the inflatables.

For students who had PE Gym today, have PE Gym Friday, or will be on a field trip when they're supposed to go to gym, their teachers are making sure they will be able to join other classes either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
Thank you for understanding! We hope your students will still enjoy our back up plan!

Starting this week our school will be conducting surveys to learn more about key areas of strength and areas of needed growth in our school. The data from these surveys will also help us track the impacts of The Leader in Me process and implement key practices more fully. In order for us to have a holistic picture of what is going on in our school we are asking all full-time staff members, parents/guardians, and students in grades 4 and up to participate.
