so apparently my page just lost access to a bunch of features because facebook's system flagged it for "inauthentic engagement" starting june 15. like... i didn't buy any views, didn't run any buff, didn't do anything shady, and now the page isn't being suggested to new people, monetization is off, and whatever earnings i had are just sitting there on hold, with a warning that i could lose them for good if i don't "fix" it.
honestly i have no idea what triggered it. maybe it's just some algorithm glitch, maybe someone out there dumped fake engagement on the page on purpose to mess with it, who knows. i've seen a few bigger pages go through the same thing recently so i guess it's not just me.
anyway if you're following the page, please keep interacting normally, like/comment/share when you actually feel like it, that's honestly the only thing that might help it recover. and if you haven't followed yet, maybe do that too just in case the page gets buried even more. thanks for sticking around, hopefully this gets sorted out soon 🙏
