Mrs. Ambriz’s and Mrs. Velasquez’s kinder students enjoyed the last day of summer school with a Pizza Celebration! They made hats and wrote a sentence related to a pizza. 🍕🍕🍕

Mrs. Gonzalez and Mrs. Tellez’s students making ice cream with their reading buddies! They read and followed directions step by step and then enjoyed their cool little treat 🍨

Fun Friday science project in Mrs. Ambriz’s classroom. Students were excited to share their predictions of what they thought would happen when warm water was added to the Skittles! They worked with partners to place the skittles in rainbow order.🌈

After a morning of academics and swimming lessons, students who stay for the ASES program continue their day with engaging, hands-on learning experiences. The ASES staff does an excellent job planning activities.

Students were creating art, cooking healthy recipes, sewing, participating in PE, building models, designing and flying kites, and playing collaboratively.

It was wonderful to see students having so much fun while building creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and valuable life skills. ASES truly extends learning beyond the school day in meaningful ways.💛💙
