Filled my heart today hearing this story.

I was talking with someone about esports, and they shared that they met a gamer from Blair. After high school, he planned to go straight into the oil field. Traditional sports just weren’t for him. But then he joined his school’s esports team, earned a scholarship to SWOSU, and now he’s working toward a nursing degree.

This is exactly why those of us involved with OKSE do what we do. It’s not just fun—it’s changing kids’ opportunities and their futures.

Tell me that isn’t worth every minute invested. I’ll wait.

And to anyone who thinks this is a waste of time or just kids “playing games” at school—you’re wrong.

First Super Smash Bro 3V3 tournament was a blast!

Had to make some last minute substitutions but AB held their own. Our team 1 sent out team 2 and Cheyenne finished us off in the 3rd round. Proud of these kids!

The only team to make it to regionals this year! Ryker Lumpkin and Eli Reed competed in Fortnite No build 2v2 Elim race. For first year players they did really great and couldn't be more proud!

Clinton High School, Oklahoma hosting Mario Kart for Oklahoma Scholastic Esports on the Southwest Side of Oklahoma. Also shout out to Frisco Conference Center for allowing this to happen and thank you to Zac Hayes and team for hosting! Appreciate y'all!

While we didn't win any state titles this season we did grow, learn and accomplish as a team. I'm extremely proud of these kids and how much effort and time they put in to this endeavor. Looking eagerly towards next year and the beginning of the Spring season with OKSE! Thank you for all your support and cheers through out the season. Couldn't do this without any of you and we as a team and program are thankful for you!

Merry Christmas from all of us gamers in AB esports! Cheers to the new year and what new and exciting things it will bring!

Our gamers Owen lavigne, Skyler Ellis and Tanner Ingram are going to SWOSU for the OKSE State Championship event! Monday the 16th they will be competing in Super Smash Bros Ultimate!! If you happen to see em tell em good luck! Been a long grind over a few months to get here but these guys are ready!!

Well, It is that time of year again! End of the fall season for OKSE and while we didn't get through playoffs we did give it our best. I'm extremely proud of the work the kids put in to compete in this league. We had rough starts at the beginning of the season but these teams really pulled together. Appreciate all the support and of course the Parents and the Students. None of this is possible without them! We will be moving to Spring games and forming teams for those very soon!!! As always looking forward to another season in Oklahoma Scholastic Esports!!!

Huge shout out to OCCC for hosting the October OKSE Suprr Smash Bros tournament! Their campus is extremely nice! AB had some ups and some downs but these kids are always ready to game!

They had a great day!! Owen and Tanner coming in high placement in the brackets! Will have final placements soon!
